The military in the Zaporizhzhia region received drones, electronic warfare, and communication systems worth almost UAH 40 million
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration has delivered assistance to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Drones, electronic warfare equipment, communication systems, and other items were delivered to the soldiers defending Ukraine from Russian invaders in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported on this.
He also published a photo of the equipment delivered to the military over the past week.
“Last week, military aid worth UAH 39.9 million for 18 military units was transferred to our defenders in the Zaporizhzhia sector,” the Regional Military Administration Head wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, drones are currently a priority. Therefore, Ukrainian defenders have received hundreds of FPV and Mavic drones of various modifications, UAV systems, and electronic warfare systems.
All of these means are already helping the military to keep an eye on the Russian invaders and destroy them on Ukrainian soil.
The defenders also received the following items:
- laptops, tablets, TVs, and other gadgets to equip command posts;
- autonomous power supply devices (generators and powerful charging stations);
- communication and signal amplification systems (Starlink, signal amplification kits for drones, remote antennas, repeaters).
Soldiers of the 108th Brigade of the TDF recently used an FPV drone with the incendiary mixture in the Zaporizhzhia region to burn down a forestry where the invaders were located.
A large amount of sparks and white smoke suggest that a warhead filled with thermite, a mixture of metal powders that produces high temperatures during combustion, was chosen to perform the task.
The operators presumably used “iron thermite,” which consists of easily accessible components, namely oxidized iron and aluminum powders.
The combustion temperature of such a mixture can reach 2400 degrees.
