Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being trained in eight European countries.

Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, spoke on this process.

According to the Minister, thousands of Ukrainian defenders have mastered the use of the weapons provided by the Western partners. Training of servicemen is still ongoing.

The Minister stressed that Ukrainian fighters are learning quickly. In the hands of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, any weapon becomes even more effective.

“We are learning. We are learning quickly. We will equally quickly master aviation and other types of high-tech weapons. Those who doubted this have already changed their minds.

Any weapon in the hands of our soldiers becomes even more effective. We will expel the invader terrorists from our land. Victory is ours,” Oleksii Reznikov wrote.

The Ukrainian servicemen are being trained to operate the foreign-made weapons and military equipment in the United Kingdom, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, France, and Germany.

The Minister of Defense reminded that currently, the Ukrainian army is receiving equipment and weapons “which we could only dream of a few months ago.”

Reznikov also mentioned that since April, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were trained abroad.

They have already mastered 155-mm M777 howitzers, FH-70, M109 ACS, CAESAR and PzH 2000, M142 HIMARS systems, AHS Krab, as well as a significant number of M113 armored personnel carriers, FV-103, Bushmaster, Senator, Mastiff, Husky, and Wolfhound.

Currently, the upcoming groups of Ukrainian servicemen are set to gain knowledge on the operation of M777 towed howitzers, AHS Krab, M142 HIMARS rocket systems, M270 and MARS II. They are also becoming specialists in managing the Gepard 1A2 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun and operating the VAB armored personnel carriers along with the BVP M-80 infantry fighting vehicle.

In addition, this week, with the support of the United Kingdom, another project was launched. This would be the course of basic general military training for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The first few hundred servicemen have already left to undergo training. In general, the project is designed to train over one thousand Ukrainian soldiers.
