The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will receive a Situational Center

In Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will create a Situational Center and ensure its functioning.

Situational Center is a modern form of organization of analytical activity, which based on the synthesis of information and communication technologies, means of accumulation and representation of information.

The Center will be established in accordance with the decision of the National Security and Defense Council “On improving the network of situation centers and digital transformation of the national security and defense sphere.”

At the beginning, a working group on creating and ensuring the functioning of the situational center in the system of the Ministry of Defense will be formed.

The main tasks of the working group on the creation of a situational center are the preparation of proposals and information materials.

The group should evaluate and determine the list of threats on which the response should take place with the deployment of the situation center.

There will also be an assessment of the possibilities of joint with the Armed Forces of Ukraine to respond to a certain list of threats.

The Reserve Situation Center will also be able to deploy on vehicles.

The system should include:

• main situational center of Ukraine;
• government situational center;
• situational centers of the security and defense sector;
• situational centers of central executive authorities.

Making an effective managerial decision in the XXI century is impossible without a quick response to changing the situation and obtaining complete and reliable information about activities.

Situational Centers are one of the most effective forms of implementation of the system of support of management decision-making by creating a special information and technological space, including monitoring, forecasting, decision making and control of their implementation.
