The Ukrainian troops found in the field the wreckage of a downed Russian SU-34 fighter-bomber.
The Militarnyi reports with reference to the 58th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade.
The remains of a Russian pilot of the Russian Air Force were found near the wreckage of a fighter-bomber.
Soldiers of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky found the wreckage of the aircraft.
“We have finally found the pilot and the SU-34 fighter-bomber, which was recently shot down by the air defense forces of the Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. Unfortunately, he was a little less fortunate than the pilot of the plane, which was shot down by a separate tank battalion,” the brigade said.
On the wreckage of the plane is visible the emblem of the Chelyabinsk Air Regiment of Russia.
As reported earlier, on March 5, the SU-34 fighter-bomber was shot down over Chernihiv.
