Photos featuring the loading process of the next batch of support were released by the US Air Force.
The partners provide weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine from a full-scale invasion and occupation by the Russian Federation.
“A Team Dover Airman loads weapons cargo bound for Ukraine onto a C-17 Globemaster III during a security assistance mission at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware,” the statement said.
The US Air Force noted that they filmed the process of loading missiles on September 14, 2022.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thanked the American partners for their support in the fight against the Russian invaders.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful for the support and assistance,” the General Staff emphasized.
The Command of the Air Forces of Ukraine reported that on September 21, more than 15 airstrikes were carried out against the invaders.
“As a result of airstrikes, an enemy platoon stronghold, a mortar battery, up to 15 units of armored combat vehicles, dozens of invaders were neutralized. About 10 enemy air defense positions were hit by HARM anti-radiation missiles,” the Ukrainian Air Force said.
Yesterday, the Ukrainian fighter aircraft also used AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missiles against the enemy’s air defenses. Up to 10 enemy air defense positions were hit.
AGM-88 High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) is a tactical, air-to-surface anti-radiation missile. The missile targets the high-frequency radars. HARM calculates the location of the target and is able to hit it even if the radar has been turned off. The latest modifications are designed to target the radars equipped with changing operating frequencies.
AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missile is designed for American combat aircraft, some European ones, and now Soviet-made fighter jets, which are in service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
