Baykar has supplied three more Akinci drones.

This was announced by Ismail Demir, President of the Defence Industry Agency of Turkey, on Twitter.

He stressed that delivery took place without delay.

“We continue production without slowing down to increase the dominance of our security forces in the sky. Finally we delivered 3 more Akinci,” he wrote.

New UAVs will become operational in the Turkish army.

“The new Akinci UAVs of our sky are working,” the company emphasized.

The forces where the new drones will be transferred were not specified.

It is now known that the Turkish Air Force received 6 such UAVs in August this year.

Developed and manufactured by Baykar Turkey, Akinci strategic strike drones entered service in August 2021.
