Ukraine imported forty thousand 12.7 mm cartridges for NSV and DShK heavy machine guns.

According to the Great Export Import service, which monitors import and export operations, in September 2021, the Ukrainian State Company Ukrspetsexport acquired 12.7 × 108 mm cartridges.

The ammos were purchased from the Polish private enterprise Vismag Jacek Jakubczyk.

The transaction amount for machine-gun ammunition is over $242,944.

The publication recalls that Ukraine also regularly purchases 7.62 × 54 mm cartridges abroad, which are used in Kalashnikov machine guns and Dragunov sniper rifles.

In 2021, the Ukrainian State Company Ukrspetsexport imported 1,500,000 cartridges of 7.62 x 54 mm caliber through the Vismag Jacek Jakubczyk enterprise.

Also then, 34450 units of 30 mm HE-SD Round IO-30 (VOG-17M) for automatic grenade launcher AGS-17 were acquired.
