Ukraine conducted the prisoner exchange – 86 soldiers, including 15 women, returned

A prisoners exchange was completed in the Zaporizhia region. 86 Ukrainian soldiers, including 15 women, are already in safety.

Militarnyi reports about this with reference to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President.

“Friends, good news from the Zaporizhzhia region. A prisoner exchange was just completed. 86 members of Ukrainian military, including 15 women, are already in safety,” said Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Temporarily Occupied Territories, stated that it was the second exchange conducted recently.

“I speak to everyone from our side who is still in captivity: we will fight for each and every one of you! We will bring everyone home. Keep holding on!”, she said.

The exchange was completed in accordance to agreements made by the negotiating teams.

Previously, on March 24th, Ukraine conducted the prisoner exchange with the russian federation according to the 29 Ukrainians for 21 russians formula.
