Ukraine is ready to buy air and missile defense equipment – Supreme Commander-in-Chief

Ukraine is willing to and is ready to buy missile and air defense equipment.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that during the conversation with Western journalists.

According to him, Ukrainian experts have made detailed research on which countries and which warehouses have the weapons needed for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“We didn’t just ask to help us, we asked those who have such systems “Please give them to us”. We then realized that it is hard for people to just give. We said – we can buy them, take loans. We are ready to take the last out of the budget and give it away immediately,” – said Zelenskyi.

He stated that Ukraine is ready to deal with logistics and delivery of missile defense systems on its own.

The same position goes with regard to the fighter jets. “We have found jets for which we have pilots who are ready to become citizens of our country to help Ukraine,” says the Head of state.

Zelenskyi criticized the NATO leaders for their unwillingness to close the skies over Ukraine. He expressed the opinion that some politicians do not understand that by closing the sky over Ukraine they are thus securing the future of their own peoples.
