Ukraine’s defense forces have already mastered Starstreak MANPADS

Ukraine’s defense forces have already received Starstreak portable anti-aircraft missile systems.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace was reported by The Mail, European Pravda writes.

According to him, Ukrainian military personnel has already trained and mastered the latest weapons.

The British minister said: “One of the biggest problems is that the more you improve weapons systems, the more training you need to use them.”

Starstreak – MANPADS adopted by the United Kingdom in 1997.

Declared effective firing altitude, as stated up to 5000 m, range – 6000+ m. A missile with a warhead of 0.9 kg can reach a speed of 3.5 Mach.

The warhead is made in the form of three kinetic tungsten alloy dart sub-munitions.
