Ukraine targets and destroys seven Russian air defense vehicles

The Ukrainian military managed to hit a number of air defense systems of the Russian Federation in several directions.

Footage of such military operations conducted in the past months was shown by the “Flight Club” YouTube channel.

One of the units involved in destroying Russian air defense was the Ukrainian 40th Artillery Brigade.

Military intelligence officers adjusted artillery fire with the help of Leleka-100 drones, which were created by a Ukrainian company.

Ukrainian forces have reached out Russian air defense in different regions. E.g., the Russian TOR anti-aircraft missile system and the Zoopark-1 radar station were hit in the village of Kalynivka, Luhansk region.

Two more TOR anti-aircraft missile systems were hit in the Luhansk region, in the area of the village of Nyzhnia Duvanka.

A Russian fuel tanker with a 9Т229 vehicle from the BUK SAM blasted in the area of the village of Pokrovske, Luhansk region.

In this area, the R-330Zh Zhitel electronic warfare jamming communication station and the station R-934BMV Borisoglebsk-2 EW system were also destroyed.

The Ukrainian military has successfully neutralized the Borisoglebsk-2 EW system on previous occasions. In September 2022, the Ukrainian military managed to capture this Russian EW station in the Kharkiv region.

Borisoglebsk-2 multi-functional electronic warfare system is a deep modernization of its eponymous predecessor.

The main task of this system is to detect and suppress various communication channels and other systems using radio signals. First of all, these are tactical level communication and control systems, in particular satellite ones. In addition, it is possible to suppress radio navigation systems.

As part of the Borisoglebsk-2 EW system, there is equipment of various types designed for a wide range of tasks. Namely, the R-330KMV control post with R-378BMV, R-330BMV, R-934BMV and R-325UMV jamming units.
