The Armed Forces of Ukraine will have at least one division of the PzH-2000 self-propelled howitzers.

Militarnyi informs about this.

Yesterday, it was reported that Germany has agreed to supply Ukraine with seven Panzerhaubitze 2000 155-mm self-propelled howitzers.

Christine Lambrecht, Minister of Defense confirmed this in Slovakia on Friday, May 6, Die Welt reports.

PzH-2000 self-propelled artillery howitzers should be delivered after undergoing maintenance.

Previously, the media reported that Ukraine will be receiving 5 ACS from the Netherlands.

Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have a division equipped with 155-mm self-propelled howitzers in the amount of 12 units.

In addition, the German experts offered training for the Ukrainian soldiers in using the ACS.

However, some media noted that the decision was made despite the cautions being made by the German military command.

It was previously reported that the military was critical of the decision about sending equipment to Ukraine due to the fact that only about 40 of the 119 Panzerhaubitze 2000 in the Bundeswehr’s service are now on the move and can be used.
