Ukrainian Air Assault Forces liberate settlements in Mykolaiv Region from Russian invaders

Ukrainian paratroopers conduct an operation to liberate occupied settlements in southern Ukraine.

The Militarnyi reported about it, citing the news agency of the Ministry of Defense “ArmyInform”.

It was reported that during the combat, paratroopers surrounded one of the villages from flanks, carried out a short battle and destroyed the enemy forces. During this operation, they captured Russian weapons and military vehicles, relevant documents, etc.

“There was a short combat, as a result of which the enemy forces were destroyed,” the servicemen said.

In addition, Ukrainian paratroopers detained and handed over to the Security Service of Ukraine a local resident, who provided Russian invaders with the contact details of ATO participants and patriotic citizens.

The name of the liberated settlement in the Mykolaiv area isn’t reported yet.

As reported earlier, the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces seized a SACLOS radio guided anti-tank missile system and a modified armored personnel carrier.
