Ukrainian air assault troops on the front line use the captured Msta-S artillery system.

The Command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces said that the trophy 2S19 Msta-S is in service with the 95th Air Assault Brigade.

The former Russian self-propelled howitzer became the Ukrainian “Odin.”

The military said that the Russian ACS was damaged during the battle by Ukrainian artillery.

Therefore, the invaders left it during their retreat.

“Our artillery knocked out this self-propelled howitzer a little, and the Russians simply could not start it when they ran away,” the report said.

The Ukrainian military took it for themselves, repaired it, painted Russian signia and renamed the howitzer in honor of the god of war and victory “Odin.”

“Now the equipment copes well with its duties and destroys the invaders,” said the commander of the howitzer, Oleksander, from 95th Brigade.

According to him, the 2S19 Msta-S already has one stricken tank and enemy manpower.

It was also discovered that this system is relatively new and has low mileage.

“Our guys found “Odin’s” past by number, and it turned out that the self-propelled howitzer had previously worked in one of the military schools in Russia. And it is also a new modification, with a computer, that simplifies our work,” Oleksander explains.

Paratroopers say that “Odin” rarely idles without work; it is increasingly working on the front lines, which helps the military a lot.
