Ukrainian Drones Destroy 17 Russian Armored Vehicles in Kharkiv Region
In the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian drones inflicted losses on Russian armored groups trying to break through to the Oskil River.
The ‘Achilles’ Battalion said that 17 Russian equipment units were hit by drones.
The invaders’ armored vehicles were destroyed near the settlements of Pishchane, Kruglyakivka, Krokhmalne, and Kolisnykivka.
“The enemy took advantage of the prolonged rainfall to attempt a breakthrough to the Oskil River, aiming to seize the crossing and cut off our bridgehead on the left bank,” the military reported.
It is known that the Bureviy National Guard Brigade and paratroopers of the Naddniprians Brigade are also cooperating with the ‘Achilles’ Battalion in this area.
The battalion also cited figures of recent Russian losses:
- 8 infantry fighting vehicles destroyed;
- 3 tanks destroyed;
- 6 infantry fighting vehicles damaged;
- 21 invaders eliminated;
- 26 invaders wounded.
The video shows Ukrainian FPV drones destroying T-80BV tanks by tank mine trawls that are supposed to make tracks in Ukrainian minefields.
The drones also destroyed many Russian BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles.
Back in September, the Russian occupation forces took full control of the village of Pishchane in the Kharkiv region and began to advance to the Oskil River.
The village of Kruhlyakivka, near which the fighting is currently taking place, is the last village on the enemy’s way to the Oskil River.
The village has been under the control of Ukrainian forces for a long time after the 2022 counteroffensive.
Recently, the Defense Forces successfully pushed the invaders back from the outskirts of Kruhliakivka. In addition, during the assault, special forces captured several Russian invaders.
