Ukrainian fighters engaged Javelin against a Russian BMD-4M

Ukrainian forces used the weapons to destroy a modern Russian armored vehicle.

The video featuring the strike was published by Anton Herashchenko, Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs.

It is reported that servicemen of the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine made a hit against the Russian military.

Ukrainian soldiers engaged the FGM-148 Javelin portable anti-tank missile system against the armored vehicles of the Russian military.

The strikes were inflicted against the invader position. There, the Russians placed two BMD-4M armored vehicles.

“Three orcs wanted to sunbathe in the spring sun, but burned to the ground since the soldiers of the SSU Military Counterintelligence Department intervened with their plans,” Herashchenko said.

BMD-4M is a new generation Russian amphibious infantry fighting vehicle designed to transport personnel of airborne troops.

The crew of this Russian armored vehicle consists of 3 people and 5 paratroopers.

For reference: the Department of Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine is a functional subdivision of the Central Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine, which counteracts intelligence, terrorist, and other activities of special services of foreign states.

This also applies to organizations, specific groups, and individuals that can bring potential danger to the state security of Ukraine.

• extraction, analytical processing, and use of information containing signs or facts of intelligence, terrorist, and other activities of special services of foreign states, as well as organizations, groups, and individuals that could endanger the state security of Ukraine;
• counteraction of intelligence, terrorist, and other activities of special services of foreign states, as well as organizations, individual groups, and individuals that could endanger the state security of Ukraine;
• development and implementation of measures to prevent, eliminate, and neutralize threats to the interests of the state, society, and the rights of citizens.

The Department of Counterintelligence consists of units on counterintelligence search, counterintelligence operations, protection of government and administration, counterintelligence protection of transport and energy infrastructure, etc.
