The Ukrainian servicemen liberated an urban-type village of Borova in the Izyum district of the Kharkiv region.

The Borova settlement council reported about this.

“Borova and the greater part of the Borova settlement territorial community are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! The clearing of the territories is outgoing,” the report said.

Moreover, it is also reported on the liberation of the village of Shiykivka, which is not far from Borova.

“People took to the streets en masse to thank for the release. Unfortunately, it was not possible to capture the full range of human emotions that we saw. Children shouted Glory to Ukraine, many women cried. Everything is going according to plan,” Anton Petrivskyi, a soldier of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade noted.

The day before, Ukrainian forces completely cleared Lyman from Russian invaders of the Donetsk region and liberated the village of Torske in the direction of Kreminna.

Since the beginning of the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian defenders have already liberated 454 settlements, said the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

As previously reported, on September 6, in the Kharkiv region, the servicemen of Ukraine began counteroffensive actions in the area of the city of Balakliia.

To mark the Ukrainian equipment during the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, the military chose an equilateral white cross.

In just a few days, the Ukrainians were able to regain control of such important cities for Russia as Kupiansk and Izium.

In 7 days, four cities were liberated, namely Balakliia, Izium, Kupiansk, and Vovchansk.

On September 10, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that it had carried out the so-called “folding” and “regrouping” of its troops from the Kharkiv Region to strengthen the Donetsk direction.
