Ukrainian gunners, with the help of American M982 Excalibur extended-range guided artillery shells, hit two Russian ACS at once.

Footage of the work of Ukrainian defenders was shown by volunteer Yurii Biriukov.

The Russian military deployed two self-propelled howitzers in close proximity to each other. Taking advantage of this situation, Ukrainian soldiers targeted the APCs.

Two American-made M982 Excalibur 155mm extended-range guided artillery shells were fired at the position of the Russian artillery.

Both shells hit almost at one point and destroyed the Msta-S 2S19 152mm ACS.

“I’m not even trying to understand what exactly these two 2S19 Msta-S ACSs were doing ass to ass. Anyway, our artillery finished this orgy,” concluded Yuriy Biriukov.

The loss of precious Msta-S self-propelled howitzers weakens the artillery capabilities of the Russian army.

Such cases also demonstrate the effectiveness of Western-type weapons over Russian ones.

The Pentagon has been supplying the Ukrainian army with Excalibur precision-guided shells for a significant period of time.

Their accuracy literally turns artillery weapons into sniper weapons. As stated by the manufacturer, Raytheon, it will take up to 10 conventional shells to achieve the accuracy of one M982.

Excalibur is a rocket-assisted projectile, and its firing range depends on the artillery system it’s used with. At the same time, it is extremely important that these shells can be fired from any modern artillery system that adheres to NATO standards.

These may be American M777 towed howitzers, French CAESAR, German PzH 2000 ACSs. In particular, the proven range of the Excalibur fire with a M777 with a 39-caliber barrel length is 36 kilometers. But CAESAR with a 52-caliber barrel is capable of firing this shell at a distance of 46 km, and PzH 2000 at 48 km.
