Ukrainian military hit the Russian R-330Zh Zhitel EW system

Soldiers of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade destroyed the Russian R-330Zh Zhitel radio-frequency interference system. The video of the hit to the EW system was published on YouTube.

A drone adjusted the artillery strike on the R-330Zh.

A hit was recorded on a truck on the KamAZ chassis, which is part of the system.

The vehicle caught fire after several hits.

A container with the R-330Zh Zhitel equipment was located next to the truck.

The Russian R-330Zh Zhitel EW system is designed for automated detection, direction finding, and analysis of radio emission signals in the operating frequency range.

R-330Zh provides the following radio-frequency interference:

• subscriber terminals of satellite communication systems “INMARSAT” and “IRIDIUM”;
• navigation equipment of GPS system consumers;
• base stations and cellular radio communication system terminals of GSM-1800 standard.
