Ukrainian military personnel continue their training in Great Britain

The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain demonstrated the training of the Ukrainian military in Northern England.

A photo featuring military personnel studying in the United Kingdom was released on Twitter.

It was noted that the servicemen are being prepared for combat operations on the front line.

“Ukrainian recruits taking part in the UK-led training program have been training in snowy Northern England earlier this week, preparing them for frontline combat,” the report said.

As previously reported, over 19,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planned to undergo training in Britain in 2023.

Moreover, approximately 10,000 Ukrainian military personnel will complete their training by the New Year under Operation INTERFLEX.

All of them undergo several weeks of coordination with instructors of the British army and other countries involved in Operation INTERFLEX. After the training, the soldiers will be sent back to Ukraine, and provided with winter equipment.

In just 8 years of hostilities in Ukraine, British partners have trained approximately 25 thousand Ukrainian soldiers.

This year’s Canadian Operation UNIFIER program was also recently completed. Exercises under this program are planned to be resumed in 2023.

Additionally, training is being held at European training grounds through the EUMAM Ukraine European Union training mission.
