Volodymyr Zelensky visited Bakhmut
President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Ukrainian defenders in Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
He presented awards to the military defending the city.
Freedom TV channel correspondents reported that.
They also released a video featuring Zelensky having a conversation with the military.
Serhii Nykyforov, Press Secretary of the President, shared with Suspilne that Volodymyr Zelenskyi has already left the city, where heavy fighting has been going on for the past few weeks.
“The President has already left Bakhmut,” Nykyforov said.
The length of the visit is unknown. The President visited the advanced positions and presented the soldiers with awards and valuable gifts.

Photos from Bakhmut were published on the Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Bakhmut Fortress. Our own. Disobedient before the enemy. Those, who with their bravery prove that we will stand and not give up what is ours,” Zelensky wrote.
