Volunteers of the Ukrainian territorial defence have been armed with the Panzerfaust 3 anti-tank weapon
Volunteers of the Ukrainian territorial defence got German Panzerfaust 3 grenade launchers.
The Militarnyi reported with reference to a video published in the public domain.
In early March, it became known that anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons had arrived in Ukraine from Germany.
At that time, 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 the Stinger man-portable air-defense system were handed over to the Ukrainian Armed forces.
Panzerfaust 3 is a German man-portable anti-tank grenade launcher.
All weapons of the Panzerfaust 3 family use a standard firing device. It has a pistol grip with trigger and safety mechanisms, shoulder support and integral high-grade optical scope. Once the rocket is launched the firing device is removed from empty tube and reused.
There is an upgraded version of the fire control unit, equipped with a ballistic calculator, an optical sight, a laser rangefinder. A rocket launcher can fire rocket grenades with a cumulative or tandem warhead.
