Ukrainian anti-aircraft units receive interceptor drones from the Come Back Alive Foundation
Cover teams of Ukrainian air defense units received interceptor drones and ground control stations.
The transfer of drones and special equipment took place within the framework of the “Let’s Ground the Enemy” project by the Come Back Alive Foundation.
The Foundation reported that 17 Air Commands East and South military units were equipped with the most necessary equipment to combat Russian reconnaissance UAVs that hunt Ukrainian air defense.
The total value of the transferred equipment is UAH 16,634,379.38.
The Ukrainian military, in particular, received
- anti-aircraft FPV drones with thermal and daytime cameras;
- training and combat UAVs;
- airplane-type FPVs;
- ground control stations;
- catapults for launching UAVs, etc.
Come Back Alive Foundation explained that this is an entire ecosystem for cover groups within the Ukrainian Air Force that will allow them to effectively (and more cost-effectively) fight enemy reconnaissance drones such as Supercam, ZALA, and Orlan-10.
The Foundation and Nova Poshta are raising UAH 300 million to strengthen the air defense system as part of the “Let’s Ground the Enemy” project launched in September.
Nova Poshta also supports the project at its own expense, doubling each amount raised by concerned citizens.
“The partner matches all contributions: if you donate UAH 1,000, Nova Poshta will contribute the same amount,” the Come Back Alive team emphasized.
As part of this project, Militarnyi is also raising UAH 3.1 million for anti-aircraft FPV drones, transportation, and communications.
“We ask you to support such an important collection for the Ukrainian military with your donation.”
The Foundation previously noted that 100% of the project’s solutions are either completely Ukrainian or a combination of Ukraine’s military experience and Western equipment/technology. The only equipment purchased abroad is vehicles.
