30th Mechanized Brigade takes the positions of the Russians in the Bakhmut direction
Ukrainian troops stormed a Russian position in the direction of Bakhmut.
The combat work of the 30th Mechanized Brigade was demonstrated by AEROBOMBER aerial reconnaissance unit.
The operation was conducted to liberate the positions between Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Zaliznianske from the invaders.
Tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and a UR-77 mine clearing vehicle were used for combat operations.
The operation was coordinated by reconnaissance drones, which also dropped explosives on the Russians.
At first, Ukrainian artillery fired at the Russian positions, then two tanks were sent in to attack the positions in the forest.
At that time, the UR-77 mine clearing vehicle, which was behind the tanks, began to release explosive charges creating mine-free paths.
Then two infantry fighting vehicles, each with 8-9 soldiers, set out to storm the Russian positions.
The soldiers landed near the forest and started advancing towards the Russian trenches, where a small arms battle had already begun.
The video shows the elimination of a part of the Russian military occupying these positions.
This is not the first such combat operation of the 30th Brigade in this area. In June, the Ukrainian military knocked out the Russian invaders off one of their positions along the Sloviansk-Bakhmut highway.
The battle took place near the E40 highway (Bakhmut – Sloviansk) between Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Zaliznianske.
