The soldiers of the 41st Separate Mechanized Brigade stopped the offensive of Russian marines in the Kursk region.

The corresponding video of the enemy’s destruction was published by the brigade’s press service.

The published footage shows the elimination of the remnants of the Russian military, who attempted to storm the positions of the 41st Brigade.

Despite the use of a significant amount of equipment, the enemy failed to break through to the positions of the Ukrainian defenders.

While still on the approach, the Russian marines from the 810th Sevastopol Brigade were attacked by FPV drones, which resulted in a significant amount of military equipment being damaged and personnel attempting to hide.

For the final destruction of the enemy, drones with dropped munitions were used, which hit the Russian equipment and personnel involved in the assault.

The hunt for the enemy was carried out with the help of drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras, which allowed to effectively detect the movement of enemy infantry in the forest.

In total, the published video shows the destruction of about five BTR-82A armored personnel carriers equipped with anti-drone protection and slat armor.

In addition, the video shows Russian soldiers hiding behind a combat vehicle similar to a BMP-3, which was also destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

As of now, Russian troops are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense in the Kursk area, but most of the assault attempts end in significant losses for the enemy due to poor preparation.

Despite their numerical superiority, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are organizing a high-quality defense using minefields, anti-tank weapons, and drones. These means allow them to destroy enemy columns before they approach the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that Russian troops had suffered significant losses of equipment during mechanized assaults from anti-tank mines that had been installed in the Kursk region.

According to the General Staff, the enemy lost 17 units of equipment during the assault attempts due to the installed minefields alone.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively mining possible offensive routes using a variety of technical means, in particular, various heavy drones, multicopters, ground robotic platforms, and artillery.
