A batch of HMMWVs has been delivered to the Azov Brigade from the United States

Donors delivered HMMWV off-road vehicles from the United States for the Azov Brigade.

The Help Heroes Of Ukraine Foundation said the shipment included three American vehicles.

The HMMWVs will help to evacuate wounded soldiers and deliver ammunition quickly.

“We thank the Civil Resistance and Assistance Foundation for its cooperation and organization of the fundraiser,” the Foundation shared.

In August, it was reported that the Help Heroes Of Ukraine Foundation had already transferred 40 American HMMWVs to Ukrainian defenders.

American vehicles are transferred to units that already have this type of vehicle on their balance sheet.

In the US, an HMMWV can cost between USD 20 thousand to 200 thousand.

The price of an HMMWV in the United States depends on the vehicle’s configuration and state.

The Foundation is trying to transfer different types of American vehicles to AM General.

After purchase, the vehicles are repaired in the United States, where obtaining the necessary spare parts is easier. Help Heroes Of Ukraine also sends spare parts for HMMWVs to Ukrainian units.

The units also receive a medevac version of the M1152 HMMWV, equipped with a medical module for four stretchers.

According to the U.S. Department of Defense, Ukraine has received more than 5,000 HMMWVs from its American partners.
