In Belarus, Security Forces detained a resident of a village in the Gomel region, claiming that she “collaborated with extremist Internet resources.”

A CCTV camera installed on the roof of her house captured the crash of a Shahed kamikaze drone, one of the drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus claims that the woman, by transmitting photos and videos to the administrators of “banned Telegram channels, could have caused panic among people and spread false information.”

In addition, she may be held criminally liable for this, the security forces emphasized.

A video released by the Interior Ministry shows armed men entering her detached house.

According to Telegram channels of Belarus, the video in question was filmed on the night of October 3 in the town of Kalinkavichy, during another Russian drone attack on Ukraine.

Mediazone Belarus writes that “the location of the gate, its shape, color and the shape of the fence” on the law enforcement recordings match those on the video that captured the moment of the Shahed kamikaze drone crash on October 3.

The video was captured by a CCTV camera and later appeared in social media chats. According to the publication, at about 04:55 a.m., the whistle of a falling drone woke up the city’s residents: “The sound of the explosion was so loud that many witnesses thought that the window panes would fly out. The sound wave reached the neighboring villages.”

The Belarusian Hajun monitoring project found that on the night of October 3, the Shahed drone “left the Kyiv region of Ukraine around 04:40 a.m. and flew to Belarus on a course to Mazyr.” According to the monitoring project, no other Belarusian aircraft took off that night.

This is not the first time that the Russian kamikaze drones have violated Belarusian airspace. On the night of September 26, four Shahed UAVs flew into Belarus, one of the drones flew from Russia. At the same time, two fighter jets were flying over the southeast of the country.

On the night of September 7, at least eight UAVs, including seven Shahed drones, flew into the Belarusian territory. The first time Belarus shot down a Russian Shahed drone that flew in from Ukraine was on August 29.

As previously reported, self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko commented on the Russian Shahed drones flying into Belarus.
