American armored vehicle manufacturer The Armored Group (TAG) will supply 100 armored vehicles to an unnamed Eastern European country.

This is reported by Army Recognition.

A contract worth $23.2 million was signed by an unnamed Eastern European country for the supply of armored vehicles.

As part of this agreement, The Armored Group will begin delivering the first vehicles in September 2024.

According to the company, to fulfill this order, it will work with Gray Raven Group (GRG) to analyze equipment and support product management as part of this agreement.

“These vehicles would provide a critical capability to the Armed Forces of the recipient country, allowing them to protect the right to determine their future,” Beau Gailey, Executive Vice President of TAG and a combat veteran.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a large number of countries with limited defense budgets have begun purchasing armored vehicles based on civilian vehicles.

Due to their low price and ability to protect personnel from 5.56 and 7.62mm bullets, these vehicles have helped fill the gap of the lack of armored vehicles in the Armed Forces.

It should be noted that this is not the first contract to supply 100 armored vehicles to an unnamed Eastern European country.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that in June 2022, The Armored Group (TAG) had received an order for approximately $23.2 million to supply armored vehicles to support the mission of the Armed Forces of an unnamed Eastern European country.

TAG Executive Vice President Beau Gailey commented:

“As a combat veteran, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a team come together to accomplish a common goal. TAG is proud to join forces with Grey Raven Group (GRG) to address this critical need for armored military vehicles. These vehicles provide a critical capability as men and women of the Armed Forces defend the right to determine the future of their nation on their own terms.”

The wording of TAG’s vice president suggests that Ukraine is the recipient country.
