Australia announced plans to deliver 15 armored vehicles to Indonesia as early as September 2021.

This equipment is in good condition and ready to use, so it will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of training and operations.

However, the Ministry of Defense of Indonesia reminded of the need to prioritize the use of domestically produced vehicles.

“The offer letter from the Australian government was received last year. The donation also includes spare parts with a six-month warranty,” the Indonesian Ministry of Defense said.

It was stated that the Bushmaster armored vehicles could be used for the next 20 years.

The Australian Government will also conduct training between May 22 and July 7, 2023. They plan to train 25 drivers and 15 technical personnel specialists.

As previously reported, Australia provides Bushmaster armored vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
