Benefactors hand over cars and equipment to 47th Assault Brigade
The benefactors from the Come Back Alive Foundation have handed over vehicle and sniper equipment to the 47th Brigade.
The 47th Assault Brigade reported that the fund had transferred 15 Peugeot Landtrek pickups.
In the war, vehicles are a chance to keep the soldiers alive, the opportunity to provide units with necessary supplies and move quickly.
The new Peugeot Landtrek has a double cab with 5 seats, all-wheel drive, a 150 hp diesel engine, as well as useful accessories.
The benefactors have also handed over equipment for sniper operation to the newly launched Brigade.
The handed over equipment contained:
- InfiRay Saim SCH 50 thermal imaging sights – 6 units.
- Leofoto LM-405C tripods – 3 units.
- Leofoto HB-70 Heavy Duty Ball Head with ARCA clamp – 3 units.
With the help of such a sight, it is possible to see at a distance of two and a half thousand meters.
The success of the tasks will not be interfered by rain or thick fog either.
“A wide viewing angle makes it possible to shoot the target without hesitation at any distance,” the Brigade noted.
In turn, tripods are designed to mount a rifle at a certain position.
They have an adjustable height due to three telescopic “legs” made of ten-layer carbon. The tips of the “legs” have special “feet,” which can be twisted and replaced with spikes for greater stability. Each of the sections can be easily dismantled literally in a quarter of a rotation.
As previously reported, the 47th Assault Brigade was armed with American MaxxPro armored vehicles.
