The Russian drone was conducting air reconnaissance over the positions of Ukrainian forces.
Troops of the Kramatorsk unit were the ones to shoot down the Orlan-10 UAV.
It is reported that the Russian reconnaissance drone was shot down using small arms.
A video featuring the Donetsk region Border Guards inspecting the downed Orlan-10 had also been released.
Orlan-10 is a multirole unmanned aviation system designed to monitor extended and local facilities in hard-to-reach areas manufactured by Special Technology Center LLC.
