Come Back Alive Foundation reinforces air defense with mobile command posts
The Ukrainian Air Force received mobile command posts.
Come Back Alive Foundation transferred them as part of a joint project with the Nova Poshta company.
The project aimed at strengthening air defense capabilities was called “Pack the Sky – Boost Air Defense.”
The Foundation demonstrated complex communication equipment vehicles, worth approximately UAH 7 million each.
All units of the Air Command “Center” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were supplied with them.
Systems were developed in Ukraine with consideration of the experience of the Ukrainian military, which they received in the fight against the Russian invaders.
“We are proud of this complex development because vehicles and modern mobile command posts made on the basis of off-road wheeled vehicles assure uninterrupted communication in all units of the Air Command “Center.” In simple words, this is what increases the effectiveness of air defense forces,” the Come Back Alive Foundation noted.
For security reasons, the Foundation does not disclose the exact number of comprehensive communication hardware transferred.
“But let’s just say that these command posts are now helping to protect our Kyiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and other cities and villages in the central part of the country,” the statement reads.
The joint project of the Come Back Alive Foundation and the Nova Poshta company called “Pack the Sky – Boost Air Defense” was launched on June 1, 2023. Its goal was to raise UAH 330 million for communications and mobile command posts for air defense forces.
The equipment helps the defenders of the sky stay in touch and respond even faster to enemy air attacks.
In October last year, the Come Back Alive Foundation delivered the first specially designed telecommunication kits to mobile air defense fire teams. They help the Ukrainian military shoot down enemy missiles and drones.
