Come Back Alive Foundation will strengthen air defense with mobile command posts
Come Back Alive, the Foundation for Competent Assistance to the Ukrainian Army, and the Nova Poshta Group of Companies are collecting UAH 330 million to set up mobile command posts for air defense.
The Foundation’s press service shared this on its social media pages.
On June 1, the “Pack the Sky – Boost Air Defense” project was launched. This is a joint charitable project of Nova Poshta and the Come Back Alive Foundation.
The goal is to raise UAH 330 million for the air defense force’s communications and mobile command posts. The equipment will help the defenders of the sky to always maintain connection and respond to enemy attacks even faster, within seconds instead of minutes.
The funds collected through the project will be allocated for:
- backpacks for mobile fire teams: light and at the same time functional, as they contain all necessary types of communication;
- portable command posts: a transformer workplace for sky defenders, located in a case weighing 60 kg;
- comprehensive communications hardware that will complement anti-aircraft missile systems, equipped with the necessary telecommunication equipment and comfortable workplaces for the military;
- mobile command posts: all-terrain trucks that allow commanding troops while driving and provide universal work and rest places for defenders.
“We will reduce the time from detecting a target to destroying it from minutes to seconds. We will improve missile defense and air defense against cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and Shahed-type drones.
We will increase the likelihood of their destruction due to more reaction time and reliable communication and control of troops. We will provide better speed, handling, and stability. For the first time, the Foundation, jointly with the big business, is implementing a project on the complex modernization of communications, management, and target designation for the Air Force.
This touches upon the entire management vertical: from the direct performer – mobile firing teams or batteries of anti-aircraft missile systems – to the military management of battalions, regiments, or brigades,” Taras Chmut, Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation, says.
How to join the project?
- Buy the limited packaging in Nova Poshta branches – 10 UAH from each box and 5 UAH from the package and envelope for documents will be transferred to the Come Back Alive foundations.
- Use packstations – the company transfers UAH 10 to the project account for each package.
- Visit the project website, the Nova Poshta application, or join directly in the branches.
“The month of May demonstrated that Ukrainian air defense is now better than ever, so the enemy is actively working to deplete it. Our task is to help the defenders of the sky and make air defense resistant to attacks, and also provide guaranteed and stable communication. Being an engineer by training, I understand how difficult and expensive it is.
But we know that nothing is impossible. So together with Come Back Alive Foundation, we set an ambitious goal that I hope our customers will help achieve. After all, now are the times when the life of each of us depends on the work of air defense,” says Viacheslav Klymov, co-owner of the Nova Poshta Group of Companies.
