Drones Strike Oil Transshipment Point in Krasnodar Krai
Strike drones hit the Kavkazskaya oil transshipment point in Krasnodar Krai, according to reports from Astra.
The attack was executed on the night of March 19, 2025, when strike drones targeted a pipeline facility used for transporting oil to Novorossiysk for export.
A massive fire broke out at the facility, with local residents capturing its outbreak shortly after it began. According to eyewitness reports, the fire was still burning as of 8:00 AM Kyiv time.
According to the operational headquarters of Krasnodar Krai, the facility was attacked by kamikaze drones. However, due to their interception, debris fell onto a nearby oil depot, causing a fire.
According to official information, the fire covered an area of 20 square meters, and a pipeline between fuel storage tanks was damaged. A total of 105 firefighters and 45 equipment units were deployed to extinguish the blaze.

The American FIRMS service, which detects fire hotspots, recorded an abnormal temperature increase at the oil depot at 1:24 AM at coordinates 45.46567, 40.69602.
It is worth noting that the Kavkazskaya oil transshipment point is a key enterprise involved in a major oil transportation chain to Novorossiysk, from where the oil is exported to other countries.
The transshipment point is designed for transferring Russian oil from railway transport into the Caspian Pipeline Consortium pipeline system (CPC), with a capacity of 6 million tons per year.
The facility includes a railway oil terminal and a 15.7 km connecting pipeline leading to the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station, which is part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system.
Through this transshipment point, oil is supplied by companies such as Surgutneftegas, Gazprom Neft, Yuganskneftegaz, TNK, Rosneft, and LUKOIL.
It should be noted that this is not the first attack on the facility. On February 12, 2025, Militarnyi reported that the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium was decommissioned after a UAV attack.
