Explosions occurred in the invaders’ armaments depot in Kherson

Local residents reported powerful explosions in the Pivnichnii block in temporarily occupied Kherson.

Namely, the explosions happened near penal colony No. 90.

The explosions were reported by the local media “Most”.

Local people reported that the windows in several buildings in the penal colony and in the windows of residential buildings that are located nearby flew out from the explosions.

The media noted that the invaders set up their base on the territory of the penal colony. Presumably, an ammunition depot was also located there.

This could explain such huge explosions. Local residents also reported a severe fire in the industrial zone. They emphasized that the invaders placed equipment and personnel there.

Russian propaganda also informed about the work of air defense in Kherson. Referring to its own reporter, the TASS agency reported the launch of 4 missiles.

“Russian air defense forces probably launched at least 4 missiles into the sky over Kherson, our correspondent reports. The sounds of explosions are heard,” their reports said.

The day before, satellite images of strikes on the Antonivskyi Bridge in Kherson were published.

An image was taken by Planet Labs on August 26 at 3 p.m., about an hour after the passage of the crossing was hit.

The section of the bridge is not destroyed, damage to the canvas is visible though. There is no transport visible on the bridge.
