Great Britain hands over winter equipment to Ukraine
Ukraine has received 195,000 winter kit items from Great Britain.
The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain reported about this.
This equipment was transferred to Ukraine together with Ukrainian military personnel after they had completed training in the United Kingdom.
The British Army provided over 40 items per recruit.
The UK has so far sent over 195,000 winter kit items back with Ukrainian recruits after they completed training here – the @BritishArmy provided over 40 items per recruit.

Ukrainian defenders will receive:
- Winter kit
- First aid kit
- Protective kit
As the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine previously reported, first of all, winter equipment is provided to military personnel who are in the combat zone. According to Deputy Minister of Defense Viacheslav Shapovalov, this issue is almost 100% closed.
At the same time, Ukraine receives help from partners, since it is not only about uniforms, but also about generators, tents and other winter equipment, as needed by the military.
Lithuania, Germany and Denmark have already announced the transfer of winter uniforms to Ukraine.
In addition, Ukraine sent a request for help with winter equipment to NATO member states. In particular, equipment has already been promised in the USA, Canada, Sweden and Finland. This regards providing 200,000 soldiers.
