In Kursk region, two brigades of Territorial Defense Forces are engaged in fighting for village of Obukhovka
The Ukrainian soldiers took part in the battles for the village of Obukhovka in the Kursk region.
In particular, the 104th and 103rd Territorial Defense Brigades are fighting for the settlement.
The Territorial Defense Forces released a video showing the Ukrainian soldiers fighting in Obukhovka just a few meters from Russian infantry.
The Ukrainian soldiers spotted and engaged in a firefight with a group of the Russian paratroopers.
Then the Ukrainian FPV kamikaze drones came to the help and quickly neutralized some of the Russian paratroopers.
At the same time, a Russian BMD-4M equipped with electronic warfare equipment arrived for reinforcements and began firing at the Ukrainian forces.
The Ukrainian operators managed to neutralize the Russian armored vehicle with several FPV drone strikes.
The battle took place in mid-September, and the Ukrainian troops managed to break through a new line of defense on the border and occupy the territory.
The breakthrough of the Russian border occurred in the area towards the village of Vesele.
Due to the engineering reconnaissance, the offensive routes were prepared, allowing the troops to cross the border unhindered and safely continue to move through the enemy territory.
Due to the well-planned operation and rapid pace of the Ukrainian offensive in different areas of the Kursk region, the enemy was unable to organize a defense.
As previously reported, in the Kursk oblast, the Ukrainian troops repulsed a mechanized attack by the invaders using a captured Russian defense line.
