In Nova Basan, one Ukrainian tank was fighting against a column of the Russian army

A video of a Ukrainian tank fighting a convoy of Russian armored vehicles had been released.

The clash took place during the liberation of the Nova Basan settlement in the Chernihiv region.

The battle happened directly in the village through which the Russian troops column was passing.

The Ukrainian tank took up its position behind the residential building. The lower part of the tank was masked with construction waste (geolocation). The Ukrainians aimed their fire at the road through which the Russian equipment was moving.

Video shows a direct hit from a cannon at a Russian armored personnel carrier BTR-82A. Also, a Russian tank with a fire coming from the inside had also been captured.

After the ambush attack from the tank and the Ukrainian artillery strikes, the Russian military became confused and opened random fire.

Nova Basan is located in the Southern part of the district. It borders the Bryhyntsi, Novyi Bykiv, and Sokoliv village councils.

During the liberation of the village of Nova Basan from the occupiers, one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also captured the Russian tank Т-72B3.
