At night, Russian air defense worked in the occupied Crimea.

This was reported by local residents on social media.

The work of the enemy air defense was recorded over the village of Novoozerne. Eyewitnesses and Russian occupation media resources publish videos.

In the footage, the sounds of queues of shots are heard and shells flying into the night sky are observed.

Probably these are Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.

Novoozerne is an urban-type settlement in Ukraine, part of the Evpatoria city council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. It is located in the central part of the coast of northwestern Crimea, on the southern shore of the Donuzlav lake, and 78 km outside of Simferopol.

It is worth noting that recently, the air defense of the Russian invaders in the Crimea began to work actively on unknown air targets over the peninsula.

On August 23, the occupation authorities of Crimea reported the downing of a drone near Sevastopol. Local Telegram channels post videos of eyewitnesses telling about the explosions.

On August 21, the so-called governor of Sevastopol reported that an unidentified aircraft was hit on the approaches to the Belbek airport from the side of Evpatoria.

On social media, local residents publish videos with the work of air defense in the area of Novofedorivka and Sevastopol.

On August 20, an explosion occurred in Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea near the HQ of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.

In addition, throughout the evening and night of August 20, 2022, the air defense system of the invaders worked along the coast of the Crimean peninsula.

On August 22, the Russian occupation authorities of the city of Sevastopol began inspecting the conditions of shelters after a series of explosions.
