The Luhansk Regional Military Administration transferred electronic warfare systems to the military of the State Transport Special Service.

Artem Lysohor, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military District Administration, reported about this on Telegram.

A total of six electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems were delivered to be used by the State Transport Special Service.

“We transferred six electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems to the military. The units of the State Transport Special Service that perform tasks on the front line received them,” said Lysohor.

It should be noted that the transfer of electronic warfare systems for the military on the front line is very important, as the Russian invaders are increasingly using FPV drones to fire at the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

On September 11, 2024, the Come Back Alive Foundation delivered almost 100 electronic warfare (EW) systems to soldiers of the 10th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the military received 96 Synytsia and 2 Damba electronic warfare systems, along with telecommunication kits, communications equipment, backup power, etc.

The Come Back Alive Foundation previously purchased a new signal intelligence system from a NATO country. This system allows the detection and identification of enemy UAVs and the tracking of their routes.

It should be noted that some brigades assemble electronic warfare systems independently in addition to handing over ready-made products.

Militarnyi previously reported that the Air Assault Forces showed the 77th Airmobile Brigade’s workshop for producing electronic warfare equipment.

The military also shared that the current war has shown that electronic warfare is becoming more relevant because many drones are being used for various purposes.

The workshop’s specialists explained that they invest UAH 50,000 in one electronic warfare system, while commercial manufacturers sell their equipment for as much as UAH 120,000. According to the specialists, it takes 8 hours to manufacture a single antenna housing, and a set of three antennas takes a day.
