Marines from the 36th Separate Marine Brigade have cleared captured enemy trenches in the Kharkiv region.

The press service of the 36th Brigade published the video of the incident.

The drone footage shows how the military, in close cooperation with aerial reconnaissance, is clearing enemy trenches.

Before that, the drones were dropping bombs on the Russian military to drive them out of their positions.

Thanks to the drones’ active work, the remnants of the enemy infantry were driven into the dugouts, after which the Marines started to clear them.

The clearing was carried out with the use of firearms and grenades, which were thrown into the dugout. Eventually, the enemy stronghold was cleared and came under the control of the Ukrainian military.

An important role in the successful offensive of the Ukrainian military was played by the active use of unmanned systems, which, in close cooperation with the infantry, ensured the timely detection of the enemy.

This advantage allows them to act more actively, as demonstrated by the Marines of the 36th Separate Brigade.

Currently, the brigade is near Vovchansk, where they are conducting assault operations against enemy positions.

In addition, the soldiers also managed to replenish the exchange fund with Russian soldiers who voluntarily decided to surrender.

One such incident occurred in the same area at coordinates 50.298945, 36.973882 near Vovchansk.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian marines from the 36th Brigade destroyed engineering equipment used by the invaders to create new defensive positions.

In total, the marines burned three enemy excavators.
