National Guard of Ukraine received Tital Firefighting Vehicles

The National Guard of Ukraine received Tital firefighting vehicles manufactured on powerful four-wheel drive chassis.

The Tital company explained that the transferred vehicles are made on the chassis of Renault Trucks and Mercedes Atego.

A firefighting vehicle ATs-12-80 on a Renault K440 chassis with a wheel arrangement of 6×6 can carry up to 12,000 liters of water and a foaming agent (usually a stock of these extinguishing agents is transported in a ratio of 10:1).

It is equipped with a pump with a capacity of 80 liters per second.

Its windows are protected by grilles, including a folding one for the windshield.

Two additional seats are installed in the open area behind the cabin and are equipped with seat belts.

The company’s second model of a fire tanker has an AC-7-40 index.

Here the total supply of water and foaming agent reaches 7,000 liters, and the pump is installed with a capacity of 40 liters per second.

The Mercedes-Benz Atego 1725 with a 4×4 wheel arrangement chassis is used, i.e., the vehicle has a total weight of 17 tons and an engine with a capacity of 250 liters/sec.

Ukrainian website Avtocentr noted that the chassis was delivered by Atlant – the official dealer of Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Daimler Truck in Ukraine.

Recall that Ukraine is also provided with fire engines from allied countries. In 2022, the Italian fire service handed over 45 units of special equipment to Ukrainian rescuers.

A year later, the United Kingdom planned to transfer 17 special fire engines to Ukraine. France also provides fire trucks, ambulances and emergency equipment to Ukraine as assistance.
