Rubizh Brigade Soldier Takes Out Two Russian Combatants in Close-Range Battle
A soldier from the 4th “Rubizh” Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) eliminated two Russian soldiers during a close-range firefight.
The video was shared by Oleksandr Pivnenko, the commander of the National Guard.
It is reported that the battle took place in the Donetsk region. The footage shows four Russian infantrymen standing near the trenches, when a Ukrainian guardsman suddenly appears from the cover, throws a grenade at them, and opens fire.
The video shows that it was small arms fire that killed the Russian invaders.
The two surviving Russian infantrymen entered the position, but they were attacked by FPV drones, which eventually eliminated the remaining members of the enemy assault group.
The footage shows that the Russians tried to shoot down the Ukrainian drones with fire from their assault rifles, but failed.
The NGU commander emphasizes that such a battle was made possible by the precise actions and training of the soldier.
A one-man army
Previously, on November 26, it was reported that a soldier of the K-2 Battalion single-handedly repelled an attack by a Russian assault group, forcing them to flee from their captured positions.
After the retreat, the drones destroyed most of the Russian group, which was trying to return to its positions in open countryside.
The heroic battle of a soldier named Vadym took place on July 15, 2024. The K-2 Battalion said that he later sacrificed his life while confronting the enemy.
At the end of October, it was reported that a soldier of the 425th Skala Separate Assault Battalion single-handedly repelled an enemy attack in the Pokrovsk sector.
The soldier attacked the enemy group with small arms and hand grenades, and was supported by an FPV drone.
