Russia is completing the identification of its military targets in Ukraine – Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

The Russians are preparing to make the main strikes in the battle for Donbas.

“The major activity of the invaders is observed in the direction of Izyum-Barvinkove, near the “Popasna” hub railway station, Severodonetsk urbanized district, the city of Mariupol, and on the Zaporizhia-Donetsk motorway,” said Oleksandr Motuzyanyk.

The invaders are completing the identification of the advantageous locations for the main strikes. This is evidenced by the methods of attack, the organization of the command, the separation of enemy troops, and continuous offensive operations in some of the areas.

Previously, the Russian political leadership had “updated” the purpose of its invasion of Ukraine. Now, the goals of the Russian invasion include the occupation of Donbas and the south of Ukraine in order to secure a ground corridor from Russia to Crimea and Transnistria.
