Russia reports loss of a fighter jet

The Russian Aerospace Forces have lost another combat aircraft.

The Russian pilot who was flying the military aircraft was also killed.He was likely performing a combat mission.

The Russian propaganda Telegram channel associated with the armed forces reported about the incident on Friday, September 29.

It is assumed that the Russians have lost a Su-35S fourth-generation multifunctional fighter jet.

The circumstances and location of the crash are currently unknown.

It is believed that a Russian warplane was shot down by Russian air defense today or yesterday over the temporarily occupied areas of the Zaporizhzhia region while on a combat mission to attack Ukrainian positions. Russian fighter jets and frontline bombers are now very frequently using guided bombs.

The relevant reports have appeared on social media, but this information still needs to be clarified.

Russian propagandist Ilya Tumanov, who runs the Fighterbomber aviation channel, published a photo of a Su-35 fighter jet and traditionally wrote: “Eternal flight, brother…”.

This message indicates the death of a Russian pilot.

As previously reported, on September 20, a Russian Su-34 bomber crashed in the Voronezh region during a training flight.

The plane with the tail number “05 red” fell in a field in the Kashirsky district of the Voronezh region near the village of Kolodezny. The crew of two pilots managed to eject and survived. Accordingly, there was no ammunition on board.

Preliminary versions of the bomber crash suggest the malfunction of the aircraft’s front landing gear.
