Russian invaders deport local residents of six settlements in Southern Ukraine
The Kherson region occupation authorities continue to deport the local residents from the occupied part of the Kakhovka region.
The “evacuation” zone is defined as a 15 km section along the left bank of the Dnipro River as to the website of the National Resistance Center.
It is noted that the Russians are forcibly deporting the residents of Hola Prystan, Oleshky, Kakhovka, Hornostaivka, Velyka Lepetykha and Verkhnii Rohachyk communities.
First of all, they are “evacuating” settlements along the Dnipro River, where the Russian invaders are now actively setting up a defense line.
It is reported that the Russian military has settled in the houses of the local resident who’ve been forcedly evacuated.
At the same time, in order to complicate the lives of the local population and force them to evict, the invaders steal the property of medical institutions.
Thus, all medical equipment and medicines were taken from the Hornostaivka Primary Care Center and the Central City Hospital of Nova Kakhovka to the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Russian propagandists also announced the alleged shelling of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the Ukrainian military. According to them, the dam’s gateway was damaged. It was later reported that there was no significant damage.
At the same time, the local groups in social media note that the gateway claimed by the invaders is a channel for the passage of vessels, that is closed by gates on both sides.
Еhe bridges used by the invaders as a crossing are thrown exactly through that gateway. And this gateway is a target that is regularly struck by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to stop the logistics chains of the invaders.
As previously reported, the Kherson occupation administration predicts the withdrawal of the Russian Armed Forces to the left bank of Dnipro.
At the same time, the Russian flag disappeared from the building of the Kherson regional state administration, where the occupying authorities was located and local residents noted a decrease in the number of Russian troops.
