A freight train derailed for the second time in recent days in the Bryansk region of Russia.

The Russian media reported about this.

The incident happened near Snizhetska station. The Russian freight train had 20 cars and was heading from Bryansk to Karachov. As a result of the explosion, at least eight freight cars flipped over.

It is reported that the accident was preceded by three explosions on the railway tracks, which occurred at 19:48 local time.

Sulfur and saltpeter were probably spilled from those wagons that overturned. Rescuers are trying to eliminate the consequences to prevent ignition.

According to Russian mass media, there were no casualties as a result of the accident, and traffic on the railway track was temporarily suspended.

Accidents on the railway

This is the second such case in Russia in recent days. Just a day ago, on May 1, a freight train derailed in the Bryansk region.

The freight train derailed on the Rassukha-Unecha railway line due to damage to the railway track. Seven freight wagons and a locomotive flipped over. As a result of the accident, petroleum products were spilled and ignited.

The propaganda media of the aggressor country claim that the incident was allegedly caused by the detonation of a railway track.

The Russian community “Ostanovy vagony” (Stop the wagons – Ed.) took responsibility for the events, but it is currently impossible to verify the veracity of these statements.
