Soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade destroyed the Russian BMP-3

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the armored equipment of the Russian occupation forces.

The 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade informed about this.

The soldiers of the Brigade destroyed the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle in the area of their responsibility.

Ukrainian mortars have eliminated the enemy armored vehicles stationed in the afforestation.

The servicemen shared that as a result of a 120-caliber mortar mine, the ammunition detonated and the turret of the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle of the Russian invaders was torn off.

The results of the work of the Ukrainian mortars and the burning BMP-3 were recorded by a reconnaissance drone, the one with which the soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade most likely were adjusting the fire.

The brigade also added that the crew of the invader’s military equipment was neutralized.

The BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle is armed with a 100-millimeter gun – a 2A70 launcher with a 30-millimeter 2A72 automatic gun, and a 7.62-millimeter PK machine gun.

The BMP is designed to transport personnel to the front line, increase mobility, armament, protection of servicemen on the battlefield in case of use of nuclear weapons, and joint action with tanks in battle.

Previously, Soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade destroyed and downed yet another Russian reconnaissance drone.

Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Russian “Orlan-10” drone with a portable anti-aircraft missile system.

“Orlan-10” was helping the enemy artillery to fire on the positions of the Ukrainian military.
