Special Operations Forces Soldiers hit enemy BMP-2 with RPG
Ukrainian special forces inflicted losses in armored vehicles on the Russian invasion army.
The Special Operations Forces Command released a video featuring the destruction of armored vehicles.
Ukrainian servicemen used grenade launchers to destroy the Russian BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle.
They employed the RPG-18 Mukha disposable light anti-tank rocket launcher.
It is reported that this Russian BMP-2 was detected by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special reconnaissance task. Then they decided to destroy this enemy equipment.
The process of striking the armored vehicle was recorded from the first person point of view with a chest camera belonging to a Ukrainian intelligence group soldier.
It appears from the video that SOF soldiers shot the enemy armored vehicle with an RPG near the forest plantation.
The infantry fighting vehicle’s destruction was recorded by a Ukrainian drone.
The RPG-18 Mukha is the first Soviet short-range disposable light anti-tank rocket launcher. It is very similar to the US M72-series LAW anti-tank rocket launcher.
Mukha is designed to fight tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, self-propelled artillery, and other armored vehicles of the enemy.
The grenade launcher can also be used to destroy enemy manpower located in light shelters and buildings. It was adopted by the Soviet Army in 1972 to replace the RKG-3 anti-tank hand shaped-charge grenade.
As previously reported, in the Donbas, soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine use Ukrainian anti-tank systems against the Russian invaders. In particular, the National Guard is armed with Ukrainian-made Corsar man-portable anti-tank guided missile systems.
