Stick M12 loitering munition developed in Ukraine
A Ukrainian defense company has developed a loitering munition called Stick M12.
United Military Solutions shared that their new drone can fly up to 70 km.
At the same time, the Stick M12 Krylo UAV can stay in the air for over an hour.
The strike drone is equipped with a single electric motor in the rear. The front part has a warhead.
It is designed to engage stationary targets, armored vehicles, and enemy personnel deployment sites.
In June, the 100th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces received a shipment of this loitering munition.
The batch included ten drones, which cost the volunteers UAH 1 million 50 thousand (about UAH 100 thousand per Stick M12).
These funds were used to purchase 10 Krylo drones (the price of one drone is UAH 100 thousand), which will help the “steel” warriors send even more Russian invaders to hell and turn a lot of enemy equipment into scrap metal.
In September, the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Zhytomyr Humanitarian Hub Foundation.
This Foundation has recently started cooperating with United Military Solutions, whose UAV production facility is located in the Zhytomyr region.
“Thanks to this cooperation, our military will soon receive new reconnaissance and attack drones,” Vitaliy Bunechko, Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, stated.
This year, a new Ukrainian-made Bulava loitering munition was presented for the first time at the Eurosatory 2024 international exhibition in Paris.
